Dr. Buabeng was initially born and raised in Ghana. Eventually, he made his way to the United States where he joined the U.S. Navy. Through the help of the military, he attended college to pursue his medical interests. Not long after,  Dr. Buabeng chose his occupation as a psychiatrist. Among all the medical practices, he felt psychiatry was his calling. However, he did not always feel that way. It was after one specific moment where he became convinced of his occupation.
